We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers (grade J and above) and Practice Consultants new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should you leave within two years of employment. For experienced Social Workers new to Norfolk County Council, we promise to try and match or better your existing salary, providing it's in the spectrum of the grade advertised.

We are excited to offer a permanent Practice Consultant role within the West Place Physical Disabilities/Older People Team, covering Fens & Brecks area. This role will be based at Priory House in Kings Lynn. This is a unique opportunity to join us at a key moment of transformation as we embed a Community Led Support (CLS) approach across West Place.
You will work closely with the Team Manager to support day to day leadership, drive improvement work and champion strengths-based, community-focused practice.
You will:
• Support the ongoing development and embedding of Community Led Support
• Help create a confident, learning focused environment across the service
• Strengthen relationships with local partners, voluntary groups and communities
• Contribute to shaping local practice and exploring innovative approaches to support adults
• Hold a caseload of complex cases
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Energised by improvement and new ways of working
• Skilled in people leadership, coaching and developing others
• Experienced within adult social care, community-based support or integrated care
• A strong communicator who can bring people together and drive positive change
• Passionate about strengths based, community led practice
