Practice Assistant – Energy, Resources and Infrastructure

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Practice Assistant to join our Energy, Resources and Infrastructure (ERI) team, providing dedicated support to the ERI Partners and their respective teams.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice, working in a supportive environment that values initiative, teamwork and proactive thinking. This role is available on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:

  • Managing diaries and coordinating internal and external meetings
  • Organising domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Overseeing billing processes, expenses and related reporting
  • Coordinating and assisting with the setup of various events
  • File opening/closing, archiving, and maintaining electronic and physical records
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the practice

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, Legal Executive or Legal Secretary)
  • Sound knowledge of the monthly billing process in a legal environment - experience with Elite highly regarded
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
