As an MRO´s Intern ] you will support preventive and corrective helicopter maintenance activities to gain hands-on experience in the aviation sector, contributing to the workshop workflow under the strict supervision of certified personnel while ensuring the learning of safety standards and technical quality.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Technicians with assigned maintenance tasks (components, subcomponents, and systems) to understand the application of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives. • Consult and study technical documentation and manufacturer manuals during assigned tasks to become familiar with aviation safety and quality standards. • Support the identification and preparation of required parts and tools for daily work orders. • Observe and learn standard techniques (torqueing, safety wiring, repairs) under the direct guidance of the responsible technician.

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in work areas, ensuring strict compliance with the 5S program.

• Assist with inventory checks and status verification of standard tools and ground support equipment (GSE), reporting any anomalies.

• Become familiar with recording information in aircraft documentation (logbooks or internal forms) under supervisor validation.

• Participate in training sessions and operational safety briefings provided by the company.

• Immediately report any unsafe condition or hazard identified in the hangar to promote a proactive safety culture.

Requirements:

• No prior work experience required; internship or professional practice position aimed at students in their final academic terms.

• Active student in final semesters of a Technical Degree or Engineering Degree (Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field).

• Technical English reading comprehension (ability to read and interpret technical manuals and aviation documentation).

• Theoretical knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, or aeronautical structures. • Proficiency in Google Workspace / Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides). • Basic understanding of safety standards and technical documentation in aviation is a plus.

• Strong learning agility and eager adaptability to technical environments. • High frustration tolerance and resilience when facing complex tasks. • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. • Effective written and verbal communication.

Como Practicante de MRO, serás responsable de apoyar en las actividades de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de los helicópteros para adquirir experiencia práctica en el sector aeronáutico, colaborando en el flujo de trabajo del taller bajo la estricta supervisión de personal certificado, garantizando el aprendizaje de las normas de seguridad y calidad técnica.

Responsabilidades clave:

• Asistir a los Técnicos Titulares en los trabajos de mantenimiento asignados (componentes, subcomponentes y sistemas) para comprender la aplicación de boletines de servicio y directivas de aeronavegabilidad.

• Consultar y estudiar la documentación técnica y manuales del fabricante durante las tareas asignadas para familiarizarse con los estándares de seguridad y calidad aeronáutica.

• Apoyar en la identificación y preparación de partes y herramientas necesarias para las órdenes de trabajo del día.

• Observar y aprender técnicas estándar (torques, frenados, reparaciones) bajo la guía directa del técnico responsable. • Colaborar en el orden y limpieza de las áreas de trabajo, asegurando el cumplimiento estricto del programa de 5S.

• Coadyuvar en el inventario y verificación del estado de herramientas comunes y equipo de apoyo terrestre (GSE), reportando cualquier anomalía.

• Familiarizarse con el registro de información en la documentación de la aeronave (bitácoras o formatos internos) bajo validación del supervisor.

• Participar en las capacitaciones y charlas de seguridad operacional impartidas por la empresa.

• Reportar de manera inmediata cualquier condición insegura o peligro detectado en el hangar para fomentar una cultura de seguridad proactiva.

Requisitos:

• No se requiere experiencia laboral previa; posición de prácticas profesionales o estadías dirigida a estudiantes en sus últimos periodos académicos.

• Estudiante activo en los últimos semestres de Carrera Técnica o Ingeniería (Aeronáutica, Aeroespacial, Mecánica o área afín).

• Comprensión lectora de inglés técnico (capacidad para leer e interpretar manuales técnicos y documentación aeronáutica).

• Conocimiento teórico de motores de aeronaves, sistemas mecánicos o estructuras aeronáuticas.

• Dominio de aplicaciones de Google Workspace / Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

• Conocimiento básico de normas de seguridad y documentación técnica en aviación es un plus.

• Gran agilidad de aprendizaje y rápida adaptabilidad a entornos técnicos.

• Alta tolerancia a la frustración y resiliencia al enfrentar tareas complejas.

• Habilidad para trabajar en equipo y buenas relaciones interpersonales.

• Comunicación verbal y escrita efectiva.
