Role Purpose

The Smart Quality Intern supports quality and continuous improvement initiatives through data gathering, digitalization of quality formats, documentation control, and analysis of operational information. This role contributes to key quality processes such as PPM and scrap metrics tracking, CAPA support, customer complaint follow-up, audits, and scrap reduction projects. The intern will also gain hands-on experience in data analysis, root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and decision-making within a manufacturing/quality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the digitalization and transformation of quality formats and records.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting quality metrics such as PPM and Scrap.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational and quality-related data.
  • Support CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) activities and follow-up.
  • Assist in documentation control to ensure records are updated, organized, and compliant.
  • Participate in internal audits and support audit preparation activities.
  • Provide support in customer complaint follow-up and related quality investigations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using problem-solving methodologies.
  • Support projects focused on scrap reduction and operational quality improvement.
  • Help analyze information generated during operations to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and support decision-making based on data findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality processes and operational performance.

Education Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of quality tools, manufacturing processes, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • English level may be preferred depending on business needs.
