The Practical Nursing Clinical Instructor is entrusted with imparting the knowledge and skill each student needs to be successful by providing quality delivery of assigned courses while ensuring that all students achieve competency in the course objectives. Instructors evaluate and resolve student questions, issues, and problems, and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Dorsey Schools, and/or regulatory agencies in compliance with policies, procedures and legal requirements. Instructors are to be motivating, fair, impartial, creative, dedicated, and professional. The Practical Nursing Clinical Instructors will supervise, lead, and teach Practical Nursing students at a “to be determined” medical facility.
May be required to work late and occasional weekends to support business needs. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit for extended periods of time; and have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a phone, computer keyboard and other office equipment.
