The PR & Wellness Club Intern will support the execution of strategic public relations initiatives that elevate brand awareness, drive media coverage, and strengthen ALO’s luxury position within fashion, wellness, and fitness press, while identifying key VIP partners for gifting, product placement, and paparazzi moments. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about storytelling, media, and brand building within the wellness and fashion space.

You’ll work closely with the PR & Wellness Club team to support media outreach, press list maintenance, event logistics, sample coordination, gifting orders, and bringing brand moments that shape ALO’s public narrative to life.

This internship will begin on June 8th and will end on July 31st, working 40 hours per week from our Beverly Hills HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support press outreach, including building/maintaining media lists, compiling assets, drafting pitches, etc.
  • Monitor and compile press coverage and maintain up-to-date coverage reports
  • Assist with sample trafficking and tracking for media placements and shoots
  • Support VIP + Stylist seeding initiatives, including gifting coordination and tracking
  • Help check in and organize samples, coordinate cross-functional sample borrowing, and assist with Ghost Mannequin shoots for each collection
  • Help coordinate press previews, brand events, and media activations, assisting with logistics including guest lists, check-in, gifting, and recap reporting
  • Identify up and coming VIP talent that are on-brand and press-worthy, for future gifting + partnership consideration
  • Take detailed notes on all agency calls, capturing key discussion points, decisions, action items, deadlines, and follow-ups, and circulate recaps to stakeholders within 24 hours
  • Help prepare press recaps, media reports, and presentation decks
  • Support cross-functional coordination with Marketing, Social, Retail, and Community teams
  • Supporting ongoing media positioning of the Alo Wellness Club openings in London and Miami
  • Identify opportunities for storytelling around Alo Wellness Club evergreen programming
  • Audit VIP solicitations from primary agency with analysis and propose 2027 recommendations for Alo Wellness Club

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong interest in fashion, wellness, fitness, and media
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with media relations and/or marketing
  • Social media fluency (Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Workspace; familiarity with media monitoring or PR software is a plus
