PR Intern, CHANEL Denmark

CHANEL Denmark is looking for a motivated PR Intern to join our team and support our daily public relations activities.

As a PR Intern, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth coordination of PR operations and contributing to the overall success of our communications efforts. As part of the Benelux & Scandinavia region you will assist the Press and Public Relations team in daily tasks, including coordinating and tracking media coverage, managing press requests, and contributing to the organization of PR materials and events.

This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, based in Copenhagen and reports hierarchically to the Press and Public Relations Manager.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Monitor media coverage (online, print & social) and compile regular reports with key insights.
  • Help prepare press materials part of key campaigns (press releases, media lists, briefing documents, presentations).
  • Coordinate showroom activities, including sample trafficking and logistic process for product send-out.
  • Assist with logistics and execution of global / local PR activations (events, launches, press days).
  • Track industry trends and benchmarks to support the communications strategy.
  • Maintain and update media databases and contact lists.
  • Provide general operational support to the Press Relations team.

We are looking for

  • University student studying public relations, communications or a similar field
  • Genuine interest in following industry trends
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Familiarity with media monitoring tools is considered a plus
  • You have strong communication and writing skills and can present information clearly.
  • Well-organized and able to work with deadlines.
  • You have a proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • You have good analytical skills and pay attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize information into clear reports
  • As part of a dynamic environment, it comes natural to you to act with flexibility, dedication, and independence
  • Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language
