Job Description

General Purpose

Contribute to grow sales and brand equity, by building our celebrity strategy and PR strategy in order to elevate brand image with clear KPI setting based on global/Japan communication strategy; PR and Celebrity strategy

The Assistant Manager is responsible for celebrity strategy including the influencers and product PR management together with PR manager with in Japan. Their objective is to secure the elevated media exposure on Tiffany products / new collections and the event message by managing celebrities/influencers and external agencies.

This individual will report to PR manager, who has responsibility for the team management, especially focusing on product and celebrity PR.

Key Accountabilities

Contribute to grow sales and brand equity, by collaborating and executing holistic celebrity strategy and product PR strategy with PR manager.

  • This includes budget management support for assigned project, plan execution, co-work with alignment management with multi-functional team & key stakeholders, effectiveness & efficiency measurement, and improvement proposal/execution.
  • Collaborate with global celebrity/PR teams to leverage, influence on, and manage alignments on global campaign and guidelines, for the key initiatives/projects she/he leads.
  • When planning/executing PR and Celebrity plans, support PR manager and collaborate with other teams in respective arenas, e.g. Products for Merchandising team, DCO team for lower-funnel digital marketing, Brand Marketing for magazine tie-ins, CVM for visual merchandising, so that all teams can work toward the same goals consistently.

Requirement

  • Holistic PR experience at a brand end or a PR / Advertising agency end, incl. celebrity/influencers management, magazine (ads and tie-ins), BTL activities (events, pop-up store, etc), at least for 3 years’ experience related Fashion/Jewelry & Watch brand(s) or beauty brand(s), preferably luxury brand(s).
  • People management experience at least for 1-2 years.
  • Hands-on, roll-up-sleeve attitude – support the execution/follow-through by himself/herself, capable of handling multiple and fast-paced tasks, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Professionally and personally mature person, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Solid strategic thinking, integrating both qualitative perspective and quantitative perspective.
  • Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
  • Ability to manage and operate under tight deadlines
  • Undergraduate college degree
  • Business level English skills
