Main Responsibilities
1. Supervise day to day operational activities related to ship operation.
2. Ensure compliance with organisation procedures and industry regulations to ensure the safe operation of ships.
3. Manage primary communications link with the Ship's Master also manage relation with customers.
4. Monitore the ship movements and cargo transfer operations.
5. Analyze ships operational data to improve efficiency, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.
General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Marine Transportation, Naval Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping operations, operational planning, vessel operations, or fuel management. Having experience in leading a team will be a plus.
3. Understand shipping operational processes, voyage planning, and vessel fuel consumption monitoring.
4. Good analytical skills in reviewing operational data and identifying cost efficiency opportunities.
5. Used to handling daily operational monitoring and preparing operational reports.
6. Familiar with regulations and operational standards in the shipping industry is an advantage.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with operational reporting systems.
8. Able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
9. Good communication, coordination, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
10. Detail oriented, responsible, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
11. Willing to be placed in North Jakarta.
