Technical:
•SoR/drawings: Timely finalization with inputs on supplier and cost feasibility inputs in coordination with PEL
–Ensures timely & comprehensive feedback from SBC (material cost) assessment
–Ensures timely & comprehensive feedback from supplier
•Technical sign-off:Timely completion of technical sign-off along with PEL & COE to ensure that only the suppliers capable of meeting TCP targets are signed-off
Techno-Commercial:
•SBC & Quote Synthesis: Deliver on TCP targets for part development
–Ensure quality and timely completion of quote synthesis (incl. supplier feedback, capex / investments, part pricing & process details)
–Ensure supplier capacity to provide parts as per projected volume in time & at scale
–Decision on cost trade-offs for the commodity to minimize TCP deviations at vehicle-level
–Ensure that underlying assumptions of SBC, SOR & quote synthesis are similar, so that, SBC and supplier quote are in striking distance of each other
–Suppliers in the panel should be capable of meeting TCP targets for each part
Commercial:
•Supplier Panel & VoB: Coordinate with SSU to ensure timely closure with help of PSL
–Ensure only the vendors who cleared technical sign-off get onboarded.
Part development:
•Maintain partwise BOM and meet the associated Capex related to part development
•Delivery as per material cost targets & within budgeted investment for bought-out parts
•Delivery of right quality parts as per Project MRD2
•Timely completion of vendor PPAPand handover to SQE& SCM
Other Business decisions:
•Finalize the project budget: Provide part development related inputs to PPH for business case
•System-level target drill-down: Provide feedback on techno-commercial feasibility to PEL
•Make vs Buy decisions: Timely inputs for the finalization in line with platform TCP targets, in coordination with PPH,PMH, PFH & CPH
