The Tyvek® business is looking for a Personal protection equipment (PPE) Technical Specialist, based in Mexico City.The PPE Technical Specialist will provide expert technical support for DuPont’s Personal Protection Tyvek® business in Latin America, with a primary focus on Mexico. This role is critical in delivering technical solutions to customers and customer-facing teams, supporting product certifications, and enhancing the value proposition of our products through data generation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support:
    • Provide technical assistance to customers and internal customer-facing functions.
    • Act as a trusted advisor for product performance, application, and compliance.
  • Technical Data & Testing:
    • Generate and analyze technical data to strengthen product value propositions.
    • Support internal and external testing processes for certification steps.
  • Training & Education:
    • Deliver technical training sessions for internal teams and customers.
    • Develop training materials and ensure knowledge transfer across stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
    • Maintain strong communication channels with regional and global teams.
  • Travel:
    • Regional travel required 50% to support customers and certification activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong technical knowledge in personal protective equipment and related standards.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Problem-solving mindset and customer-oriented approach.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in technical support or product certification preferred.
  • Language:
    • Proficiency in Spanish and English required.
