Join us at Barclays as a Senior Project Manager within Public Policy and Corporate Responsibility (PPCR) Technology, leading the delivery of complex, business-critical technology and transformation programmes. We are looking for a confident and influential delivery leader who thrives in ambiguity, can navigate complexity, and has a proven track record of driving large-scale change across technology, operations and business teams.
This role requires someone who can bring structure and momentum to fast-paced programmes, manage a broad range of stakeholders, oversee change governance and effective Risk Management, activities, and successfully deliver strategic transformation across PPCR initiatives often involving multiple business units and third-party vendors.
To be successful as a Senior Project Manager, you must have the following essential skills:
Complex Programme Delivery – Proven ability to lead complex, multi-region programmes with diverse resource models and evolving requirements, bringing structure, clarity and momentum in highly ambiguous environments to ensure successful delivery.
Strategic Stakeholder Management: Ability to align diverse stakeholders across Group Brand & Marketing, Front Office, Technology, Operations and multiple Business Units, driving decisions and maintaining momentum in a complex environment.
Change Management, Governance, Risk & Reporting: Providing clear, concise updates to senior stakeholders, managing RAIDs, driving governance forums and ensuring decisions, risks and issues are understood and acted upon.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Salesforce Platform Knowledge: Understanding of Salesforce capabilities, CRM architectures to effectively challenge solution design decisions, assess delivery trade-offs and drive informed programme outcomes across the DMS ecosystem.
Event Management Process Domain knowledge: Understanding of event and hospitality management processes, including nominations, invitations, registrations, attendance tracking, compliance controls and post-event analysis, to ensure solutions align to business objectives, support future operating models and deliver maximum value to stakeholders.
Change Management & Business Readiness: Experience delivering large-scale process and technology change, embedding new ways of working, defining target operating model, driving stakeholder buy-in and ensuring Business is ready to transition to and adopt the future operating model and associated controls.
Data & Insight Driven Delivery: Appreciation of data quality, reporting and dashboarding, with the ability to identify opportunities to leverage GenAI and emerging technologies to enhance user experiences, automate processes, improve decision-making and unlock greater value from existing tech stack.
