The opportunity:

Aligned with the sustainable growth strategy within the High Voltage Products Business and as part of our SCM Supplier Quality Transformation strategy, the New SQ PMO department has been established to centralize and optimize the management of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). SQE’s play a major role in implementing the PPAP process.

How you'll make an impact:

  • PPAP Demand Management

    • Consolidate PPAP forecasts reports with cross functional teams

    • Manage PPAP Demand workload by function (reports)

    • Review PPAP demands, assign PPAP’s to SQE teams based on category and alignments with the Hubs.

    • Monitor and ensure that the assigned PPAP demands meets the process performance goals (KPI’s monitoring: PPAP Gate level OTD, average days per PPAP gate, etc.).

    • Elaborate executive PPAP demand reports to internal stakeholders

  • Operational Excellence and Governance

    • Monitor dashboards for tracking the live status of the PPAP’s

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, identify and implement improvement actions.

    • Benchmark global best practices and implement Best in class tools and process.

    • Ensure data availability and accuracy for operational and management reviews.

    • Support in digitalization of the processes in the PPAP execution

    • Create a plan and conduct process audits on the completed PPAP’s and initiate needed corrective actions

    • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / equivalent

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in Supply Chain preferably in Energy, Automotive, Aerospace industries

  • Certified Six Sigma – Green / Black

  • Experience working in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development, Program/Project Management functions in a complex Global role

  • Knowledge of Part qualifications / PPAP management

  • Hands-on experience in working with Windchill or any other PLM system, SAP

  • Proven experience in implementation of continuous improvement projects

  • Capable to work independently under challenging projects

  • Strong analytical skills, especially with data analysis, experience in developing dashboards / reports in Power BI are highly desired

  • Experience in implementing Systems projects in SCM / SQ domain (preferably AI)

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to network across the teams and to mentor the team members
