Key Responsibilities

·
Lead validation activities for powertrain
components from design through production.

• 
  Develop DVP for complex
  components/systems covering environmental, reliability and durability
  scenarios.
• 
  Plan, develop and optimize test cases
  and evaluate test results such as static/dynamic strength, fatigue,
  durability test, corrosion, functional /performance test, etc.
• 
  Collaborate with design, simulation,
  and manufacturing teams to ensure robust component performance in DVP.
• 
  Support root cause analysis, and
  corrective actions in problem solving.
• 
  Support regulatory compliance and
  improve internal quality standards.

Requirements

Required
Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in
  thermal engineering or related field.
• 
  Proven experience of 3 to 7 years in
  validation engineering within Powertrain domains.
• 
  Strong hands-on expertise in
  functional, environmental and durability testing methodologies.
• 
  Familiarity with automotive standards
  (e.g., ISO, SAE, IEC, OEM-specific).

Preferred Skills &
knowledge

• 
  Experience in developing test cases
  for environmental, reliability and durability testing of powertrain
  components (Have knowledge about Electrical characteristics & EMC
  testing is plus).
• 
  Experience in developing complete
  validation plans for powertrain components.
• 
  Knowledge of material characteristics,
  corrosion, mechanical design and validation engineering.
• 
  Experience working with electric
  vehicles and any electrical knowledge is a plus.
• 
  Excellent
  analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
