At Capgemini Engineering, we are looking for a Powertrain Expert to strengthen our automotive engineering teams and support advanced Electric Vehicle (EV) projects.

Your role

• Act as a technical expert on EV powertrain systems (electric motor, inverter, battery pack, reducer)
• Define and validate powertrain architecture and system integration
• Lead subsystem coordination, project governance, and reporting at key milestones
• Manage suppliers and ensure delivery on cost, quality, and timing
• Contribute to cost control (product cost, tooling, CAPEX) and change management
• Ensure alignment between subsystem and system-level objectives

Your profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
• Strong experience in Automotive Powertrain, with focus on Electric Powertrain systems
• Expertise in electric motors, inverters (400–800V), battery packs, and system integration
• Knowledge of CATIA / NX, ANSYS, and automotive standards (ISO 26262, LV 123/124)
• Structured mindset with strong leadership and coordination skills
• Fluent in English and French
