Job Description

About the job

Delart is home to a team of world-class engineers and project leaders dedicated to developing the next generation of advanced networking technologies, consumer devices, and innovative technology solutions. Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.

Overview

Join a dynamic team focused on delivering industry-leading wearable devices by driving power measurement methodology development and ensuring robust power validation from concept through mass production. This high-impact role is central to optimizing device battery life and system efficiency, working across hardware and software disciplines to define, automate, and execute power validation processes that guarantee delivery to key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and refine power measurement methodologies tailored for wearable consumer devices, spanning initial proof-of-concept to mass production stages.
  • Bring up, debug, and validate power circuitry on prototype hardware, collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and software engineers.
  • Develop and maintain automated frameworks for capturing, analyzing, and reporting power measurements during device validation and testing cycles.
  • Execute comprehensive power validation test cases, collecting consumption data across various operational use cases and device states.
  • Systematically report validation issues in bug tracking systems and work with cross-functional teams to drive rapid root cause analysis.
  • Generate, maintain, and improve documentation, including validation test plans, reports, and detailed instructions for testing.
  • Support root cause analysis and debug power, SoC/memory, and peripheral component issues, contributing to continuous improvement in power subsystem performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience validating power subsystems for consumer devices, ideally in wearables or mobile electronics.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with key power management components (Buck/Boost regulators, LDOs, load switches, fuel gauge ICs, SoC power domains).
  • Experience creating and executing power validation and test plans, including defining use cases and automation strategies.
  • Proficient in capturing and analyzing power consumption data using laboratory equipment (multimeters, power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, data acquisition units).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or LabVIEW for automation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Android OS, Linux kernel, and SoC power architecture fundamentals.
  • Understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience optimizing and validating power for battery-operated consumer devices at volume production scale.
  • Advanced knowledge of automated test environments, data analytics, or custom tool development to streamline validation workflows.
  • Familiarity with firmware and driver-level power optimizations in embedded systems.
  • Exposure to root cause analysis for SoC- or memory-related power consumption anomalies.
  • Graduate coursework or research in embedded systems, power electronics, or mobile systems architecture.
