We are looking for: Power Systems Simulation Studies Expert

You’ll make an impact by:

• Serve as the primary expert for grid study engineers globally who use Siemens PSS®E, delivering prompt, accurate, and professional guidance and expertise.
• Demonstrate the ability to rapidly diagnose and contextualize grid study issues with minimal initial input, asking incisive clarifying questions that reflect deep domain awareness.
• Provide expert-level guidance across:
• Load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and dynamic simulation workflows
• Dynamic model selection, parameter configuration, and simulation execution
• Error interpretation, case setup validation, and tool usage best practices
• Software installation, licensing, and environment configuration.

Use your skills to move the world forward!

• Master’s degree, in Electrical Power Systems Engineering.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar position
• The following experience is highly desirable

· Practical understanding of:

· Machine models, excitation systems, and governor dynamics

· Steady state and dynamics simulation studies, input and output processing and modeling

· Typical simulation workflows, input data structures, and configuration settings

· Working proficiency in C/C++/Fortran and Python for technical problem-solving and scripting.

· Hands-on familiarity with industry-standard simulation platforms, including PSS®E (strongly preferred), PSCAD, MiPower, ETAP, or equivalent tools.
