Purpose of the Job

Act as the local Power Supply Installation and Design Support Engineer based in Santiago de los Caballeros, ensuring the quality, completeness and technical compliance of installation deliverables,

• facilitating issue resolution in the field,
• supporting installation and T&C activities,
• coordinating technical interfaces between site teams and the Mexico Power Supply Design Organization,
• ensuring compliance with DFQ (Design For Quality), 4M Quality requirements and contractual obligations.

As “Power Supply Expert” in case of projects:

• Contribute of the QCD (Quality, Cost, Delay) for the projects done by operational team,
• Provide support on the projects done by his/her operational team.
• Giving assistance to PS design engineer team to development of system and infrastructure projects, promoting improvement process and guarantee the team development.
• Ensure the carry-over from previous projects and current R&Ds
• Support supplier quality control during execution, bring his support to secure suppliers quality.
• Flying doctor within NLAM region

As “Power Supply Expert” in case of central functions:

• Develop NLAM competencies in Power supply scope: Design, functional and architecture definition, electrical dimensioning, automatism…
• Set up S&I NLAM Power Supply engineering school
• Lead peer review linked with DFQ cycle
• Participate to 8D/QRQC demarch at region level
• Lead REX on Power supply scope at NLAM level
• Innovation leader on Power Supply scope
