Job Description

AWC is hiring a Power Platform Developer at our corporate office in Tacoma, WA. This position is a hybrid schedule.

The salary range for this position is $95,000-$105,000 plus Bonus.

Purpose

The developer serves as a technical expert specializing in Power Apps and Power BI / DAX, leveraging SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to deliver scalable, data-driven business solutions. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and optimizing low-code applications, automated workflows, and interactive dashboards that support corporate functions. By integrating structured and unstructured data across critical IT platforms, the developer collaborates closely with corporate IT and business departments to troubleshoot issues, enhance system functionality, and drive actionable insights through seamless platform integration.

Essential Duties

  • Analyze, design, and configure SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions using Power Apps and Power BI / DAX to meet corporate business and reporting requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications and recommend system improvements to enhance performance.
  • Conduct systems analysis to diagnose complex enterprise issues, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.
  • Create and modify SharePoint applications and configurations using Power Apps and Power BI to automate business processes, enhance reporting, and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with corporate IT to test, implement, and document application updates and new system functionalities.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential failures or inefficiencies.
  • Train and guide users on IT system best practices and functionality improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Standard office tools and systems are required, including computers and Microsoft applications.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in systems analysis, IT infrastructure, or software configuration preferred
  • Proficiency in data integration, and business process automation
  • Experience with manufacturing or automotive IT systems preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design and implement solutions
  • Experience with data analytics and reporting using SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions leveraging Power Apps and Power BI / DAX
  • A high level of knowledge in Power Apps and at least intermediate level of knowledge in Power BI / DAX
  • Knowledge of SQL, scripting, or system automation tools such as Power Automate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset and passion for technology
