Power Electronics Engineer

Advanced/Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer, Shenyang

Lead the design, development, integration, and verification of complex power electronic systems supporting next-generation CT HW platforms. The role serves as a technical expert in power conversion, power distribution, EMC-conscious design, and reliability engineering while driving the successful delivery of critical hardware subsystems.

Your role:

  • Responsible for power distribution unit design (Power electronic converter) and CT Power electrical design, such as power converters, power filter, transformer, etc.

  • Responsible for power supply architect & power supply platform development for CT scanner, drive technical feasibility study and discussion with team members from concept stage to product launch.

  • Switching mode Power Supply development includes Schematic Design, components selection, transformer design, PCBA layout checking of high-power medical gradient amplifier.

  • Communication and technical feasibility discussion with team members in concept stage;

  • Detailed design delivery for power supply with high power (technical product spec, DFMEA, electronics system architecture, design review, validation & verification, etc) during PDLM execution;

  • Perform trouble shoot and root cause analysis on issues from customer or production line, as well as design verification and product validation, ensure deliverables have no risk in safety and reliability.

  • Work with global or local technical leadership to ensure that the technical deliverables are consistent with the goals of larger programs, projects or initiatives

  • Ensure design for reliability, performance and high-quality product delivery through supplier relationships

  • Track and drive power electronics innovations.

You're the right fit if:

  • Master or Bachelor's degree in Engineering in power electronic engineering, or related field equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years electrical engineering experience.

  • Familiar with power electronic production development process.

  • Demonstrated experience in analog, digital, power, PCB layout, EMC/EMI centered electrical design.

  • Knowledge in design for manufacturing: Ease of assembly, Cost, second sourcing.

  • Experience for power supply topo LLC/Phase-shift full bridge or three-level is preferred.

  • Working experience with the global R&D and engineering organizations.


How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
