The role supports component execution from concept through production, ensuring technical performance, quality, cost, and timing objectives are met

This highly motivated, self‑starting DRE will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to develop cost‑effective, reliable Product Engineering Components (PECs) using advanced technologies, simulation tools, and test and evaluation equipment.
  • Define and develop Design Verification Plans and Reports (DVP&R) and execute all required development and verification testing to ensure functional objectives are met and program goals are achieved.
  • Support the creation of component specifications derived from vehicle, system, and software requirements, including durability, warranty, safety, and performance requirements at the component level.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing organizations to ensure designs meet Stellantis’ requirements, perform the intended function, and are robust and manufacturable without defects.
  • Participate in supplier technical assessments in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Take part in post‑test inspection reviews, perform detailed failure analysis, and recommend changes to product specifications as needed.
  • Track and manage the progress of component development, verification, and production activities, both internally and externally.
  • Support issue identification, resolution, and tracking at technical, program, production, and financial levels.
  • Assist in reporting and communicating component development progress and status at various team and program review meetings.
