Job Description

We are looking to hire a " Power BI Engineer" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience working with Power BI in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M Language).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Office 365, SharePoint).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

(Preferred Qualifications)

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent certification.
• Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience in the consulting industry or working with multiple clients.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards and reports based on client requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Integrate data from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, cloud services) into Power BI.
• Optimise Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategies.
• Provide training and support to clients on Power BI usage and best practices.
• Maintain and update existing Power BI reports and dashboards as needed.
• Stay current with the latest Power BI features, updates, and best practices.
