Power BI Developer-(CREQ251837)
We are looking for a talented Power BI Senior Developer to join our DevOps capability focused on rapid development and reliable production support. The role requires a self motivated individual who can collaborate with multiple teams on design and development across projects. This person will work in an agile environment with BI engineers analysts business sponsors and solution architects within the EU IT division.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver measurable value by contributing technically to Business Intelligence projects including business analysis requirements BI solution architecture analytics and software engineering. Identify innovation opportunities using best practices to improve delivery and team capability.
Responsibilities and Experience
Analyze business requirements and create data visualizations and reports
Develop reports using Power BI and write DAX queries
Publish reports and manage sharing through apps and embedded solutions
Maintain schedules jobs and data gateway activities
Work with on premises and cloud data sources such as SQL Amazon and Oracle
Perform data transformation modeling and create relationships
Develop tabular and multidimensional data models
Apply advanced calculations and visualization best practices
Troubleshoot reports validate data and perform testing
Optimize SQL queries and use filters and visuals effectively
Build and customize Power Apps for data management
Write stored procedures create tables views and perform tuning
Handle capacity planning requirement analysis and documentation
Manage data refresh using data gateway
Implement row level security and security models
Design Power Automate flows for automation
Integrate Power BI with Power Apps and Power Automate
Embed Power Apps in reports for interactivity
Develop technical architecture and maintain disaster recovery
Deliver insights through dashboards and reports
Provide support for existing reports
Additional Skills and Experience
5 plus years of Power BI and analytics experience
Knowledge of Snowflake and database systems
Experience in agile Scrum teams
Strong Excel skills and data analysis ability
Good to Have
Knowledge of Generative AI
Experience with Snowflake
Understanding of Scrum framework
Exposure to Jira
