Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that provide deep insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Integrate data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
  • Lead BI projects from concept to completion, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT, to ensure BI solutions meet business needs.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of BI solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Utilize advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create complex calculations and data models.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior BI developers and analysts.

Requirements?

  • Bachelors/masters degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or a related field (or an equivalent of 3 years of practical experience in a technical domain).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI/Qlik or Tableau.
  • Experienced with data visualization principles, measure/KBI-creation & best principles in semantic modeling (especially star schema creation).
  • Strong experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex calculations in Power BI or similar tools is a must.
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience with large data analytics languages like SQL/TSQL/MSQL.
  • Proven practical experience in implementing/organizing the implementation of technical products with business/none-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving and communication skills are a must for the role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good proficiency in English as a day-to-day business language is a must.

Qualifications considered as a plus:

First proven leadership capabilities towards junior employees and a proactive approach to project management.

Basic programming knowledge in any high-level programming language (C++/C#/Java/Python/R).

Knowledge of Power Query for data preparation and transformation.

Previous work experience in a data-related role, especially within the financial and commercial domain.

Company offer:

  • Life insurance.
  • Transportation allowance of 120,960 EGP paid annually (10K p/m)
  • Work model: 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
  • Employment contract: salary is 850,000 EGP GROSS/year.
  • Annual bonus: 13th and 14th salary

  • Formal Interviews: On-site discussions with the hiring manager or project team, with feedback provided within 1-2 weeks.
  • Offer and Onboarding: Successful candidates receive a formal offer and begin a structured onboarding process.
