We are seeking a skilled Power BI / Analytics Consultant to join a Reporting & Data Science team supporting long-term forecasting initiatives. The consultant will play a key role in transforming fragmented and primarily Excel-based data into a structured, scalable data environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing robust data models, implementing complex business logic, and developing intuitive, visually compelling dashboards that support strategic decision-making. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands-on BI expertise, and the ability to work independently while collaborating directly with business stakeholders across Asset Management and Supply Chain functions.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Analyze and structure fragmented data sources into scalable reporting solutions.
• 
  Design and develop robust data models supporting long-term forecasting processes.
• 
  Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• 
  Translate complex business requirements and logic into reliable analytical solutions.
• 
  Develop and optimize ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
• 
  Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• 
  Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance throughout the reporting landscape.
• 
  Support reporting and analytics initiatives within an evolving data environment.
• 
  Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting frameworks and forecasting capabilities.
• 
  Collaborate within Agile delivery teams where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience as a BI Consultant
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence with a strong focus on data visualization
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience working independently and coordinating directly with business stakeholders
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience translating complex business logic into accurate data models
• 
  Experience with Data Management and ETL processes
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience with Databricks for data integration and transformation
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and semantic modeling.
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience working in fragmented data environments and transforming Excel-based data into structured information assets
• 
  Fluent Dutch language skills at CEFR C2 level

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 
  Experience with Microsoft Azure
• 
  Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile environments
• 
  Experience with Data Vault modeling
• 
  Strong knowledge of DAX
• 
  Experience with Python
• 
  Experience with additional reporting and analytics tools.

  Experience conducting requirements analysis and stakeholder workshops.

  Strong SQL skills.

  Knowledge of STER modeling

  Experience within the utilities sector and understanding of the ongoing digital and operational transformation of the industry.
