  About the Role

We’re partnering with a leading financial services organization to bring on a Power Apps Developer to support a growing portfolio within commercial banking.

This role is focused on building and scaling secure, enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to modernize and automate processes, while operating within a highly regulated environment where performance, governance, and security matter.

Rate $66-76/hour (T4 / Incorporated)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Duration: 12-month contract (strong potential for extension or conversion)
Start Date: June 2026
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
• Develop and enhance workflows using Power Automate, including error handling and monitoring
• Design and manage Dataverse data models (relationships, validations, business rules, security roles)
• Integrate solutions across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel) and other data sources
• Apply security best practices, including role-based access and data protection controls
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on requirements, solution design, and enhancements
• Support application lifecycle management (ALM) including deployments and environment management
• Troubleshoot production issues and deliver ongoing improvements
• Document solutions to support audit, compliance, and operational readiness

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Power Apps (Canvas + Model-Driven)
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
• Experience building complex applications with custom logic, validations, and workflows
• Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365 and external data sources
• Solid understanding of security, access control, and data protection principles
• Experience working in a regulated or enterprise environment (financial services is a strong plus)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering stable, scalable solutions

Nice to Have

• Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400)
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Exposure to front office, operations, or risk/compliance teams
• Experience supporting applications in high-volume environments
