Summary/Objective:

This position will be responsible for assisting in the powder coating/paint process. The Powder Line Associate will work in an assembly-line environment where product unhangs from the line, powder coated, oven-baked, and conveyed to a packaging station. This person will then aid in packaging finished goods. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Must be able to read blueprints and communicate with co-workers
2. Ability to set up, run, and operate machinery
3. Counting is required to maintain accurate tracking system
4. Must report any equipment issues to department Lead
5. Will be required to do periodic quality checks
6. Equipment used on the job includes racking fixtures, hooks, bins and pallet jacks
7. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment
2. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
3. Basic computer skills
4. Maintain clean and organized work space
5. Ability to work and handle multiple job assignments

2. Must demonstrate clear communication skills;
3. Must be able to read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders and measurements;
4. Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects;

10. Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This role does not have supervisory experience upon hiring.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week. 1st shift located in the Brandon, South Dakota plant. Hours are Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, some Fridays may be mandatory 5am - 11am.

Travel:

No travel required for this role.

Preferred Education and Experience:

1. Manufacturing/Industry experience.
