As part of the Intertropical Africa team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for the Poultry business unit across the Intertropical Africa region.
Your main responsibilities:
With a background in veterinary medicine (or agricultural/food engineering), you have at least 3 years of experience in poultry health and production.
You already have training and/or experience in market analysis and marketing.
Ideally, you have knowledge of the African market (trends, competition, regulations).
Your leadership skills, customer service orientation, and understanding of the drivers of poultry business development, combined with solid technical knowledge, will enable you to succeed in this role.
Fluent in English and French.
Team spirit and a willingness to work across departments, adaptability, the ability to influence and persuade, active listening and a customer-focused mindset, curiosity, the ability to establish and maintain external professional relationships and build a strong network, organizational skills, the ability to manage priorities, attention to detail, and an open mind will be key assets for making the optimal impact in this environment.
Position based in Libourne or Tours, requiring frequent travel to Intertropical Africa.
