Job Description

• Supervise and lead assigned team members coordinating work activities.
• Coordinate with management regarding equipment and supply needs, and production and research requirements.
  
• Lead and mentor team members providing performance feedback.
  
• All other relevant duties to the job.

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree in Poultry or Animal Science, or other closely related field of study preferred.
  
• General poultry knowledge and experience required.
  
• 2+ years supervisory and/or leadership experience required.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
• Regularly lift 25+ lbs., and roll/push buggies weighing ~1,000 lbs.
• Subject to dusty and hot environments.
• Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
• Frequently stand 8+ hours.
• Regularly exposed to heat conditions of 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Work around raw, live animal odors.
