
The Postdoctoral Scholar studies lipid/toluene modulation of ion channels that control the cerebrovasculature in rodents and non-human primates (baboons).
Document proficiency (i.e., doctoral thesis or peer-reviewed, original research article publication as first author) in ex vivo pressurization of cerebral arteries from rat, mouse, and non-human primates, cranial window surgery in rodents.
Perform hands-on experience with miniscope installation in mouse.
Research methodologies and single-channel resolution electrophysiology
EDUCATION: Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences or a related field.
EXPERIENCE: Entry-level position. Must have Doppler ultrasound imaging in vivo, and confocal microscopy is required.
