School of Mining and Geosciences
The School of Mining and Geoscience at Nazarbayev University is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral scholar. Service responsibility will be partitioned into Research (80%) and Teaching (20%) with an expected teaching load of one course per semester.
We are particularly interested in candidates with teaching interests and research directed in the area of energy transition, data analytics, and machine learning applications in upstream petroleum operations.
The successful candidate must have a PhD degree in Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline, with a proven research track record.
Kazakhstani applicants who have completed their doctorates internationally are especially encouraged to apply.

This is a full time position on the basis of empoyment contract for 2 years with possible renewal.
