Job Description

Postdoctoral researchers in medical image analysis. Help us create the equivalent of the screening mammogram for cardiovascular disease! We are seeking multiple postdoctoral scholars to use image processing and state-of-the-art machine/deep learning to develop a comprehensive, high-throughput CT screening exam for detecting and predicting cardiovascular diseases. Diseases include coronary artery disease, heart failure, aortic valve disease, aortic aneurysms, and more. Cardiovascular diseases are the number one cause of death in the US and the world. We are building on the unique, no-cost CT calcium score imaging program at University Hospitals of Cleveland, which has imaged>250,000 patients. Big data enables our research in extremely robust segmentation, image translation between domains, foundation modeling, multimodal risk prediction, deep-learning organ age prediction, advanced time-to-event modeling, causal data science, and more.
