Postdoctoral position is open in behavioral neuroscience laboratory with a focus on the molecular mechanisms underlying sex differences in substance use disorder. The postdoctoral fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator and other lab members understand the functional relevance of sex differences in the brain’s reward circuitry as well as design and execute their own independent research circuitry. Techniques include chemogenetics, retrograde tracing, immunohistochemistry and fiber photometry, RNA- and ChIP-seq, behavioral assays and other cellular and molecular neuroscience approaches.
Occasional weekend work may be required.Working with research animals required.Research assistant will help general lab maintenance including ordering and setting up equipment, as well as running experiments and analyzing data for the lab.
