Job Description

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER

A postdoctoral trainin g position is available in the laborator y of Dr. Liraz Galia in the department of Pathology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to stud y novel regulatory mechanisms that control innate immunity in the intestinal microenvironment T he Galia lab, has several exciting projects related to lncRNA-mediated regulation of organelle function and immunometabolism in innate immune cells, as well as posttranslational regulation of innate immune proteins by the microbiota.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in immunology and in vivo mouse models is required. Candidates with experience in flow cytometry, imaging techniques, and bioinformatic skills are advantageous, though not required.
