A postdoctoral trainin g position is available in the laborator y of Nikhil Munshi[http://www.munshi-lab.com/] , in the Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Cardiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center to develop new tools and strategies for delivering gene therapy treatments to correct diseases of abnormal cardiac rhythm Our laborator y [http://www.munshi-lab.com/] works on several exciting areas related to cardiovascular biology, including transcriptional regulation of cardiac rhythm, development, reprogramming, and regeneration
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience inmouse genetics and AAV production are desirable, and familiarity with cell culture, biochemistry, and molecular biologytechniques are a major benefit.We seek candidates with evidence of prior publication in peer-reviewed journals.
