
POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
A postdoctoral trainin g position is available in the laborator y of Dr. Jonathan Mosley, in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center to identify opportunities to apply polygenic variation in complex traits to clinical and public health practice. Our laborator y has several exciting projects related to applying innovative genomic approaches to identify opportunities to use genetic background to inform clinical and public health decision-making, to identify risk factors and biomarkers of disease, and to identify and reduce heath inequities in vulnerable populations.
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in genetic epidemiology or population genetics leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
