
A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Ambarish Pandey in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center to study the optimal approaches to improving cardiometabolic health and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Our laboratory, CMRU Cardiometabolic Research Unit, has several exciting projects related to the role of the natriuretic peptide system in cardiometabolic health, identifying novel biomarkers, mechanisms of obesity-related cardiac dysfunction, as well as understanding social determinants in cardiometabolic disease.

Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in patient-facing clinical research leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
