
This position is for a Postdoctoral Researcher in the lab of Dr. Chen Liu. The primary responsibilities will include constructing and characterizing complex mouse models related to diabetes and obesity. This will include the study of the autonomic nervous system control of liver metabolism and insulin sensitivity. These observations will need to be reported in the scientific literature, therefore requiring the preparation of manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals as well as the presentation of these results in scientific meetings.
Candidate must have a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Neuroscience, or related field.
