
A postdoctoral training position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Ganesh Sankaranarayanan, in the Surgery department at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the area of surgical simulation. Our Artificial Intelligence and Medical Simulation (AIMS) Laboratory has several exciting projects in the area of open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery simulation, video based assessment of performance and in application of artificial intelligence in analysis of surgical videos.
Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in conducting laboratory research, ability to organize and conduct multiple studies, basic and advanced statistical analysis and good writing skills are recommended.
