The Department of Mathematics is seeking applications for one or more non-tenure-track postdoctoral researcher positions beginning in the Fall semester of 2027.
Responsibilities: (75%) The Postdoctoral Researcher conducts research in mathematics of a nature and quality leading to the publication of papers in research journals or advanced-level books; maintains expertise in the field; (25%) teaches mathematics at all university levels in a manner consistent with departmental policy; and participates in other educational and professional activities of the department and university.
Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the mathematical sciences or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered provided that the degree is conferred by August 15, 2027.
Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of research excellence and a commitment to graduate and undergraduate education. Outstanding candidates in all fields of mathematics will be considered.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. We will begin reviewing applications on December 1, 2026, and will continue to review applications until the positions are filled.
