
We are seeking a motivated postdoc to build and test new soft robotics surfaces that can prevent or remove biofoulants. This project will develop first principles understanding of how mechanical and chemical forces change biofouling or anticoagulation behavior through the development and testing of new multilayered soft robotics platforms. This project will involve collaborative experiments with other institutions including national labs for field testing of promising devices. Professor Cooper is the principal investigator leading the project, with strong expertise in using dynamic polymers for soft electronic devices.
