Position Information

We are seeking a postdoctoral research associate is responsible for conducting research on plant interactions with pathogens and insects. The research questions include developing improved diagnostics and deciphering the molecular mechanisms involved in pathogen transmission, herbivory, and/or plant infection.

Responsibilities:

-Protocol development and evaluation.

-Conduct molecular research and data collection.

-Data analysis and reporting.

-Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

-PhD in related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bioinformatics experience.

-Experience with molecular biology - sequencing, signaling.

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

-Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
