Postdoctoral Fellow – Neutron Imaging of Fuel Cells

The Paul Scherrer Institute PSI is the largest research institute for natural and engineering sciences within Switzerland. For the Applied Materials Group AMG, we are looking for a

Your tasks

  • Conduct experimental studies to understand the impact of fuel cell porous media on water distribution and performance, using neutron imaging and associated characterization methods 
  • Optimize the image and data processing pipeline for our high throughput operando setup 
  • Present the results in peer reviewed publications and at international conferences

Your profile

  • PhD degree in engineering, physics, or any other relevant field 
  • Experience with advanced data treatment, ideally in imaging applications 
  • Experience with hydrogen technologies (fuel cell / electrolysis) is a plus
  • Good command of English
