Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational X-ray Imaging

For the Computational X-ray Imaging group CXI in the Center for Photon Science CPS we are looking for a

Your tasks
  • Algorithmic and method development to advance nanoscale 3D imaging, in particular applied to imaging and quantitative metrology of integrated circuits 
  • Presentation of results at conferences and workshops, and publication in peer-reviewed scientific journals 
  • Support and mentoring of PhD and master’s students in the Computational X-ray Imaging CXI group


Your profile
  • PhD degree in physics or similar natural science discipline, signal/image processing, or engineering 
  • Capacity for independent research 
  • Experience in computational imaging, image processing, image reconstruction, synchrotron X-ray experiments, tomography, CDI, and/or ptychography are a plus 
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary, diverse, inclusive, and international teams 
  • Fluency in English as the working language
