The Asthma Research Center (ARC) in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is looking for an exceptional postdoctoral fellow to advance research in asthma precision medicine, with a focus on bioinformatics and multi-omics, under the supervision of ARC Director Dr. Elliot Israel and Associate Director Dr. Craig Hersh. The fellow will work on one of several projects which include datasets of RNA-sequencing, metabolomics, and/or other omics from blood and respiratory samples with corresponding clinical, imaging, and genotyping data. In addition, these projects will be generating new omics datasets in banked clinical specimens. The fellow will take primary responsibility for data analysis and management, sharing results with the research team, presenting at local and national meetings, and preparing conference abstracts and manuscripts for publication. The fellow will work with an interdisciplinary team, consisting of clinician-investigators, clinical trials staff, laboratory technicians, bioinformaticians, genetic epidemiologists, and translational scientists.
