The selected candidate will be involved in cutting-edge theoretical research projects focusing on 1) the study of entangled quantum states in various interferometric arrangements, and 2) application of quantum physics to push boundaries of imaging science further. The selected candidate is also expected to work jointly with the students in the group. A willingness and ability collaborate with experimental groups would be an advantage.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a PhD or about to submit their thesis in Physics or a related field with background in one or more of classical and quantum optics, imaging with light, and quantum entanglement. Strong analytical and programming skills are required. Candidates with experience in high-dimensional entanglement are highly encouraged to apply.

Application Instructions

Candidates should submit a CV containing a list of publications, a research statement, and arrange at least two confidential letters of recommendation. The documents should be submitted electronically using this link: http://apply.interfolio.com/133361. Questions about the search can be directed to Prof. Mayukh Lahiri (mlahiri@okstate.edu).
