
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine to study the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying liver cancer, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (iCCA).
Research projects focus on chromatin regulation, signaling pathways, and tumor progression using cellular and molecular approaches, genome editing techniques, next-generation sequencing, and mouse models of hepatobiliary carcinogenesis.
The proposed salary is $50,000-60,000 depending on experience. The account# is 563441.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in cancer biology, cancer immunology, molecular biology, or a related biomedical field. Experience in epigenetics, immunology, animal models, or genomic/transcriptomic data analysis (e.g. scRNA-seq, ATAC-seq, Cut&Tag, etc.) is preferred. Strong communication skills and a record of scholarly productivity are expected.
