A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medine, Tulane University School of Medicine to study the molecular mechanisms and pathogenesis of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma and/or cholangiocarcinoma). The researchprojects are focusedon t he effects and mec hanisms of several signaling molecules/cascades including epigenetics, epitranscriptomics, non-coding RNAs, RNA splicing factors, and several ot her key signaling pat hways in t he regulation of liver cancer cell growt h T he studies involve complementary cellular/molecular analyses and mouse models of hepatobiliary carcinogenesis.
Successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a scientific field.
