
The Weiss laboratory at NYU seeks highly motivated and multidisciplinary Postdoctoral Associate to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of fundamental biophysics and advanced instrumentation. You will be responsible for designing, building, and utilizing single-walled carbon nanotube field effect transistor (SWNT FET) sensors to probe biological phenomena at the single-molecule level. See Turvey et al. (2022) Science Advances. 8 eabl3522, as an example of the type of experiment planned.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500/yr - $62,500/yr based on experience. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

What We Offer
Ph.D. degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., chemistry, electrical or biomedical engineering, etc.) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant research experience.
