The Center for Drug Discovery ( https://www.bcm.edu/research/centers/drug-discovery) is a strategic research center at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. The lab is looking for a highly self-motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate with extensive experience in liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) metabolomics, lipidomics, and drug metabolism. The Postdoctoral Associate will apply advanced MS-based approaches to study the proteosome and metabolome to characterize our newly created dTAG-KI animal models and conduct the drug metabolism pharmacokinetics studies. The lab is well-equipped with Thermos UHPLC-Q Exactive MS, Orbitrap Exploris™ 120, Thermo Quintus (triple quadruple), and Imaging mass spectrometry (IMS, Bruker timsTOF fleX MALDI-2). The position provides opportunities for advanced training in mass spectrometry, metabolomics, lipidomics, drug metabolism, toxicology, and imaging mass spectrometry within a collaborative and multidisciplinary research environment.
Baylor College of Medicine typically follows similar to the NIH stipulated stipend guidelines for Postdoctoral Associates.
